Heard a terrible little rumour from a reliable source that Warrington are after Max on a free transfer. Apparently they've been speaking to his agent. Hope it isn't true, would be a big loss for the club and on a free would really take the .

He's a decent prospect so wouldn't be surprised. The only thing we have at Trinity is the first team opportunities. Certainly for this and possibly next season that's no longer the case so he might as well go on loan whilst at Wire and get better money.

Behave - Much as Max was good last year, Grix has been class for us so far and adds another pivot option to our play.

Max was great last season but, probably played too many games and he's just a bit unlucky that Grix has come in and hasn't yet put a foot wrong.
Grix has been our best and most consistent player so far this season.
Max will get a shot as the season goes on and you would expect that he will be great when his chance comes around.

Having said that, I wouldn't want him to be signing for anyone else.
He's a top prospect and exactly the type of player that we need to hang on to.

Don't think anybody has said drop Grix. Everybody is singing his praises and rightly so.

You saw him have 20 odd games last season supposedly, so why the need to ask if they were all good games, some might agree with you but I think that most would agree that at the back end of the season he faded away.
The reason he has not started the season as first choice might have something to do with him rumoured to be injured and the way Grix has started how on earth can the coach drop him. HTH

Was not keen on Grix signing ,but thought he came close to man of match today ,think Carter will be keeping is eye on the Max rumours

I quite agree. I said as such a few weeks back. This lad is one of our on with a great future. Yes, Grix has played well. Has he played better than Max last season, no. If we lose Jowitt as a result of playing a player coming to the end of his career, I won't be best pleased

Why would we lose max? He was injured st start of season/pre season. He did have a lot of good games last year and you can see the quality in him but he most certainly did fade and struggle towards the back end of season.

Max will get his chance and he doesn't strike me as a young guy who will kick his dummy out and moan. He will I'm sure he working on his game even more and learning off Grix.

Grix has played brilliant and has some elements to his game Jowitt can learn from. I'm sure he's doing just that and I'm sure we will see him throughout the season.

Not saying they should drop him chisset. He's been persistently very good so far, but thought we should have kept the continuity of Jowitt. He's proved himself and we're supposed to be bringing him on. Thought that when we signed Grix he would have been cover for max this season, but when he got the no.1 shirt it was obvious he was going to be first choice. Would hate to see Jowitt wanting to take his bat home, but if we starve him of games I can see this happening.

Grix has been unreal this season, our player of the season so far. Been quality in all the games, not one dropped bomb, loads of good kicks and a try or 2.

I like Jowitt and think he can become a real star, but no way should Grix be dropped.

Max will get his chance. He is a very good player that in the long run will be better than Grix (and I really like Grix) but to get there he'll have to study his game and learn from Grix as much as he can.
He's still young and should be managed well enough to keep him happy
