As far as I'm aware the bottom club gets nothing with the next off bottom getting £25,000 and the rest getting increments of £25,000 so its hardly meaningless for a club in our position. Would be great to get a financial reward for the lads hard work.

These 7 games are far from meaningless and I think this Wigan side can be got at. Pretty woeful going forward without George Williams being involved currently. Blew our big chance to win there a few weeks back but no reason why a game can't be made of this one.

Heard from Chester post match interview that unlikely anyone coming back from injury for this weeks game....think would have to look at Bradley Moules and Anthony Walker bolstering the pack if available...

What exactly was the issue with Kirmonds knee because he had been out a fair while with it prior to the weekend and still is clearly not right.
