All time great and phenomenon in anybody's language, from an old Cas fan. Can remember even older fans of ours always saying they got fed up of seeing him taking us apart, in the great Wakey side of the very early sixties, which was just, only just before I can really remember.
Can also remember him playing right at the end of his career in the forwards with Bradford, when he was about ''90 years old''. His legs had gone, but boy could he still play football and handle the ball.
Happy birthday Neil.
PS As one who has not kept abreast of the Hall of Fame inductees, I am assuming that he is definitely in it. If not there is something seriously amiss as he should be one of the very first.

He was the 10th in the RL Hall of Fame. 9 were aded in the first year and then Neil was added in 89 on his own. He'd have been first for me but there you go.
and obviously he's in our own Hall of Fame too. |

Remember the time that every kid in the street or in the park with an oval ball wanted to be Neil Fox - Everybody's hero. I never recall reading an adverse story about the guy. Happy Birthday, Neil!!
