I have an awful feeling KR wont be the only team to come away from Leigh with their tales between their legs, also I wouldn't be surprised if Leigh finish in the top two in these play offs.

One man rugby, so slow, the only time they are throwing the ball about is on their own line.

Leigh are the type of team that only play with their tails up, do not cope very well when things go against them. The first half was all one way traffic Leigh played very well, the second half a totally different story. H K R ground them down and the pack got on top. A story of 2 halves and a lesson to be taken on board for any team visiting the village.
Must keep composure and not be drawn in to the Leigh niggles. They don't like it up em.

Leigh struggle if you keep going down the middle, if you let them get a roll on they can score three or four tries. Get in their ribs and chip away down the middle and they will be the ones conceding the tries at the end..

If you can shut their double/triple shift plays down and not get caught on the edges they're very ordinary in other aspects.

Shutting those shifts down is the difficulty though because they're very very slick at creating the extra man

Chester must have given them a right rocket at half time and rightfully so.

The manner of the defeat is far more important than the score because it will cast doubt in the Leigh minds. I would also question the Leigh mentality because when the game started to go against them Hock turned to type.

Hull or were shocking first half and looked pretty tired. Also players missing as well and pretty much out muscled Leigh second half.

When it's in Huddersfield

I'll say it again the four superleague sides from this year will be back in superleague next season. None of the championship clubs are good enough to finish above them over a prolonged period. Leigh will lose to the loser of our game tomorrow in the play off.

That's a prediction that very well may be pretty close to how all this ends up, though Leigh could potentially run out winners, my guess is it'll be Salford unless they really get their act together.

KR's second half, considering they were getting smashed in the first half, on the back of last weeks semi and considering they were missing Kelly, was superb and it does raise questions (finally) about Leigh's promotion credentials.

Let's hope it's "as you were" when next season starts.

The game simply showed that both are beatable.
Whether any other team in the middle 8s can do it remains to be seen.
We might have just seen the top two play.

You saw a team missing its 2 best players in Kelly & Campese, play very poorly in the first half, average In the second. Leigh at full strength, at home, crowd for them, rovers coming down from the elation of last weekend. Everything that could of been, was for Leigh. An still they couldn't take advantage. They won't be able to hack the higher intensity week in week out come the latter fixtures. That made this a huge game for them because they need to beat one SL team to gain promotion automatically. They missed their big chance of that. Can't see any championship side getting promoted.

I think, if you beat Salford, they could be favourites to drop out. They seem to be in turmoil off the pitch.

You are right about everything, apart from assuming that Leigh losing to Hull KR means they will lose to the other SL teams.
We don't know that yet.
Over confidence is a crippling flaw and one we can't afford.

Whilst we know a bit about Leigh already I think Saturday and Sunday showed what we need to do, cover the ball!

Salford got too many offloads yesterday and that is part of Leigh's game plan. If Leigh can offload against us they'll score at will and we'll get mullered.

If we tackle smartly and isolate their halves then we can win this one. Our game plan in the first half of the Cup match worked wonders. We just let them control the game in the second half and couldn't regain momentum.

I was cheering Hull KR on all the way on Saturday, just like I'll be doing at Wembley in a couple of weeks time
