| I'm not going to say I think Hudds were at their best today but I have to say it was great seeing Wakey show a desire and fighting spirit.
We were out own worst enemy at times with silly unforced errors that ultimately were the difference between the 2 sides.
Looking on the bright side however I think Toupu and Moore both showed up well. Toupu needed more ball in the second half near the line as he showed very good strike but it always seemed to fall a pass short. Moore I thought ran things for us with a really controlled display. Anderson was great once again and Miller after his blip last week showed up very well.
I really hope the Wakefield public get behind the next few home matches. The club deserves it and this group of players on today's display deserve it as well.
Maybe time to chuck the gates open for big reductions £10 etc. I know we need revenue but looking more longer term if we stay up which I think is a real possibility it may get more through the gate next year.

| I think your right john. I would now hope the club not only look at the improvements made in the coaching and playing side, but look at the 8s as a way of building a support base. It would be great to see a full house in our remaining home games It would be a shame for the home fans to be out numbered. Its a new start , a mini tournament that means that much to our club.

Nice to see a couple of the players who were slagged off on here (by expert coaches) before they had pulled a shirt on, showing up well.
Scott Moore was a bit of a puzzler for me but I was prepared to accept the Wakefield coach knows more than me.
Generally I am pleased with what BS has done so far and I would go as far as to say if he can't keep us up no-one can. We have to trust the man and get behind the team!

| New slate for me. We are in the midle 8's, Brian Smith is a man I have a lot of faith in.
The players in the RWB have my backing from now. Lets hope they repay the faith?

Disagree there mate, it was the clown in the middle that was the difference between both sides.
Everytime we lost the ball it was a loose carry ,when they lost it ,it was a strip. The effort by Huby under the posts
was a good example.
Would also like a close look at a couple of their first half trys.

| I agree the ref was poor but also at key points in the match we lacked composure and maybe confidence. A number of timed we dripped the ball near the line and made unforced errors. Kick defence was questionable and the main one for me was the break down the left with about 10 to go cracking break 2 men in support with a clear run to the line and we panicked tried to draw the fullback held the ball half a second too long and threw a shocking pass with the line begging.
That would have put us 4 behind and Giants were looking to show the signs of pressure.
It's a game of inches and whilst I agree the ref had a shocker we still could have picked up the win with a bit more composure.

| i didn't think the ref was particularly good yesterday, nothing too major to affect the game but seem indecisive and hesitant in a lot of decisions and he let a lot go on around the ruck and both sides seemed to be offside for most of the game( fwiw i thought one of your tries was a clear forward pass but we got one last week!)
it was a poor quality game if truth be told, too stop start, too many errors, not much quality really, i thought we were poor and didn't look interested, we seemed reluctant to want to get too dirty, but wakefield to their credit kept going and didn't throw the towel in, which as 28-12 they could have done.
for me we just did enough to win the game and nothing more, i think the only difference was the extra bit of quality we have just kept us in front all game, in terms of commitment, desire and fight( literally in some excited fans cases) wakefield won.
you'll be fine in the middle 8's i should think.
