Reality is he has always had handling problems and isn't overly quick either. He is though fairly powerful and his positioning his generally ok. But 11 first grade appearances in the last two seasons for a struggling side tells what you need to know, not really an upgrade ability wise on what we already have, just a different type of winger which might fit Smiths thinking better.

If you want a comparison think Patrick Ah Van.

I don't know much about him , but just on t hat stat alone, how many of our backs would make 11 NRL games? (And right now that includes Tim Smith)
Godinet would get a gig. Miller would on current form playing with the right partner. After that I'm thinking no one else.

Well Tupou played one game for Canberra this year and got immediately dropped never to be seen again. We've a few who might just be able to manage that feat!

We are not only facing next season without a ground but without a coach and a squad of about 9 players. This is a first even for us, I presume someone will know who of the current squad are still under contract for next season. I know it means nothing look at Smith but I am interested.

I have just tried to work it out, the first player I can think of is in rehab, I then remembered Tansey,Lynn and Howarth .I then started to get depressed so did not bother going any further.

Quite correct. Think it's essential that Tupou and Lee Smith get a run against Huddersfield as direct replacements for Lynne and Tansey.

Has it been confirmed somewhere that we have no ground next year. A few people hVe mentioned this but I can't remember a statement coming from the club.

I think the fact that we have given notice on Belle Vue indicates that currently we have no ground for next season.
