Was great to.see at the meeting on Wednesday how behind the development Mr Pickles was.His quote about the community stadium been a great development for the city of Wakefield and would be a home for hundred + years.

There is a very good chance Eric will not have a job in a couple of weeks time and Parliament is shut till after the election.

Eric may be out of a Job in government however he is still fighting a safe seat and therefore could still lobby in parliament. Albeit not as our mp. However as the 'potentially' former cabinet member for secratery of state for communities and local government, a successful project like this would look excellent on his record.

It is the time to pester politicians because in three weeks they will go back to ignoring the general public for another five years.

It is not personal to Eric Pickles, it is the Secretary of State and its office that has been made a fool of.

Whoever is in post in a few weeks time, should still be taking an interest in the undermining of a decision made by that office.

I doubt that any letter to the Secretary of State will be sent until after the election and we know who the SoS is. I also expect that we will seek legal advice about sending the letter and its contents.
