i have heard that he is making his way over to super league he is a likely singing or us because we need a new prop and he is getting old so no over big teams will want him like leeds and wigan so hopfuly we will see him in red white and bule in 2015 if its true i salute you webster

Would be a good signing however he will be 35 next season

i know a bit old he carnt get a game at parramatta but he can still run hard so i would get him on a 1 or 2 year deal

He will fit in well with the other OAP's at Salford.
Certainly an exciting forward to watch but he isn't going to have to many seasons left in him.

Possibly one or both of Raleigh and Moore to sign.
Would be looking in the backs for a signing.

It depends whats happening with Moore in my opinion, if he signs elsewhere we definitely need something else.

I think that's a common misconception there squads average age is around 25.
I can imagine ours is above that by a few years !

We still need a wrecking ball like tautai. Scruton,Moore,Simon,Anderson, smith,moi moi would be quality.

He's on his way over to pick up his SL pension cheque - if you think a 35 year old player is on his way for any other reason you need your heads testing.

Hopefully we won't see him anywhere near BV - 8 years ago when he was linked with us but not now.

Are we talking about their full squad or 1-13
Gleeson 34, Meli 35, Puletua 35 and Morley 37 certainly keep their average age up.

Ok they assembled their mercenaries at fairly short notice and there is no doubt that their squad will improve but, their 2014 starting 13 must be the oldest in SL ?

He's is coming to SL in 2015 but not for WTW.

Fair point but not the same. Ray Price came out of retirement and as a true legend (which moimoi isn't) he simply could not afford to fail. Moimoi on the other hand can and will even if he comes with the best of intentions. Put simply if it were about ambition he's join Leeds or Wigan, otherwise it's just about cash IMHO.

There are plenty of younger props in the NRL who can do what he can do these days for far less, why not sign one of those?

I really think we need to move on from these kind of signings, not just us but all of SL - concentrate in giving British players the chance to grow.

The 'draw' of FuiFui can't be ignored though; he's a RL character and would certainly pique the interest of anyone who's watched the NRL; the kind of player who could add a few on the gate. And 35 or not, for 20 mins each half, he can still be devastating.

All that said, if he's available and coming to SL, he'll be off to Salford - they've certainly found a way to make the cap work for them...

That's the bit I don't agree with, if he was still devastating he'd stay in the NRL IMO.
