First time in about 10 years we won't be favourites against cas. Pressure is off us result wise but pressure is on us to produce a good hardworking performance.

Disagree about the pressure result wise, we need to stop the rot pdq.

Score line aside if Agar can't get us up for this one (at least) he's blown his chance for me.
This is a local derby, it's not for hard working chairmen, it's not for understaffed admin, it's not for him or the players.
This ones special and it's for the supporters.
If he can't get the players up for it he might as well pack his bags, or have them packed for him.
I honestly think this one will be a make or break for him or a lot of supporters.

KC, I'm convinced we'll beat Cas on Friday. But.....Michael Carter is usually on here like a shot to refute rumours/ accusations, he's been very noticeable by his absence lately! Is he losing faith?

Cas will outplay us next week and it will be an easy win for them but as is the norm we will be watching from the same vantage point.

If we don't improve on the last 3.5 games we have played and Cas play anything like they did in the first half last night, they will be out of sight by half time. Hope to be proved wrong but not too hopeful at mo. Especially without or main attacking option, the 35 year old Ali Lau.

A poster after the CC game suggested that there were money issues also which MC would have normally been on like a shot. I'm not saying there are, equally I'm not a fan of MC having to come on here to refute every rumour but if that is his MO then not sticking to it is likely to muddy the waters.
I hope he hasn't had enough, maybe he just feels as let down as everyone else?

A sustained run of away games is certainly going to test the cash flow

The game against Cas will be just another disappointment for the Wakey faithful. Agar will not get the boys up for this and a lot of the players have not played in a game with our local rivals so they will have no passion. I hope I am proven wrong but I see another cricket score with us on the loosing side.

I thought Cas went too hard in the first half last night - I said so at the time; it was good to watch, but there was no way they could keep up that intensity for the full 80. The problem of course, is that a team of Saints quality have got a comeback in 'em - we haven't, so if we end up 20 points down, that's the game done by half time.

Fair play to Cas though - that's as good a top of the table clash as I've seen in a long time; they're light years ahead of us and I can't see anything other than a proper thumping in the derby game.

Only 1,000 tickets issued for the Tigers game to the Castleford club. We hope to get another 300 sent today. I take it the ground capacity is still 5,200 then ?

I think our main hope is the fact that it is a home derby game lifts our players up a level and the hangover of the way they lost last night causes cas to be flat. If the tigers are on their game though then i see a comfortable win for them. The loss of Lauitiiti is huge for us and the three quarter line is an accident waiting to happen defensively. And bar a half fit Collis it isn't much better in attack. Halves should be Sammut and Godinet, Sykes is showing his age for me. Mcshane is key to any chance we have but he needs spelling correctly.

We'll need our forwards to stand up and dominate their pack, something i have my doubts about being possible. We also need a strong performance from our captain which may be asking a lot given he seems to be held together with sticky tape right now.

I have a feeling that a certain Mr Mariano might just have a point to prove as well. It would be ironic if it was he who sealed Agars fate.

A win is not impossible but another tubbing is more likely. But you never know we might just sneak it, although that is more hope than expectation.

I reckon we will get a drilling next week from Cas. The flair and desire which they showed last night against St's was honestly refreshing to watch after coming back from that garbage at Leeds. Cas are playing just as good as Leeds are with a team not much better on paper than ours. Agar for me has run his course when he thinks an improvement is to still get pumped by nearly 40 points.

If Cas build a good lead first half the game will be over by half time. Can't see us coming back like Saints did. Attendance wise I think there will be more Cas fans than Wakey fans. If we get hit for another 40+ it won't just be Agar's head being called for. It'll be a hung, drawn and quartered job!

Saints gave Cas at least 12 points last night, pity they didn't do that for us.

As for DC, I am sure he has now realised that it's not worth posting on here other than for answers to basic questions as too many fans are all too eager to jump to conclusions and misconstrue what has been said.

As for getting rid of Agar /improving the team, where is all the money going to come from?

Don't think daddy cools absence on here is anything to do with him thinking its not worth answering basic questions,nowt basic about things I've seen on here fans are disgruntled about the performances shown by our team over the last few games and are worried how things will go against our nearest and dearest in short they think the man in charge as lost the plot and daddy cools absence is a little worrying because I'm sure if the results had gone in a different direction he would have been on here to put us in the picture

What exactly would you expect DC to say in response to the comments on here?

It's not the team that needs improving! It's the way they are selected and coached.
The players don't seem to be responding to constant tinkering with the team.
Think it was Scarlet Pimpernell that remarked that in the second half of the season we have 9 home games.
9 home games or not, by this time it could be too late.

Wouldn't have expected him to say owt read my post I said if results had been different so would the responce
