With Annakin & Keinhorst also out, Riley & Briscoe having returned to their clubs and three players out on loan all of a sudden we look very light on numbers, especially in the back. Kirmond is also struggling with a back injury and needs a couple of weeks off before it becomes something more serious and we lose him for an extended period. For me he should sit out the two Leeds games and get himself fit. Not sure how Moore & Molloy are but going by the blurb on the 19 man squad article last week i assume they are fit. I'd line upv something like this...

You may be without McShane too as he has been charged with a grade C offense of dangerous contact which carries a 2-3 match ban. However no charge has been brought for the alleged spear tackle by Burns on Sykes.

Just had a look , a total of 10 incidents examined makes you wonder how many would be picked up in a real dirty game !!! I am just about finished with this so called 'sport'

For me the first 17 taking into account injuries already stated should look like this for the next few games...

Which rather illustrates the point I made in another thread; it's open season on Wakefield players this year - do what you like and neither the ref or the judiciary will afford us any protection.

Not an excuse for Sunday - we were terrible - but the selective blindness of referees during our games is becoming tedious.

Now I wasn't there on Sunday so am only speculating here, but please feel free to correct me if I am wrong....a Wakefield player gets cited by the disciplinary panel for something that no one saw on the day and is looking at a 2-3 match ban (Collis v Bradford all over again ??), whereas a KR player does a blatant spear tackle - and even some Rovers fans believe that he should have been sent off and should definitely be banned - and gets off scott free and all this happens only a few days after the KR chairman claims that they are being victimised by the Disciplinary Panel ..





MC, methinks it is time to jump on the bandwagon and start having a rant yourself, as it obviously will prevent any of our players from being cited in the future...

It was a blatant spear tackle - right in front of us; in 95% of games, he would have been off but lo and behold, Wakefield's magical shirts of invisibility ensure that once again, a professional, full time referee fails to see an incident that happened right in front of him.

He also failed to see Ben Cockayne launch himself like a missile at Peter Fox's head.

He certainly saw enough later though to give Harry Siejka a bollocking for chopping at a KR players arm to get him off his shirt.

It's farcical.

from the highlights i've seen of your matches i have to agree you do seem to be getting victimised, i don't know if its just refs incompetence or what but some of the decisions have been farcical.

Don't know how the hell he could get away with the spear tackle as Sykes was vertical feet up head down and it now looks like not only did Bentham miss it but the review panel did as well.

Tautai has not broken his hand and is a 'chance' for sunday. Personally i would only play him if it is 100%, not worth the risk in a cup match.

Could experiment with Tautai?

Yes he has got a hurt hand and usually plays prop, a shoe in for full back on sunday....
