For Wakefield, in the grand scheme of things, the result doesn't matter.
Of course it would be great to beat our nearest and dearest but, it's very unlikely with

I'm happy to go on record that I think we will win.
I have no insider knowledge but I think Cas can leak points, and we have a decent defense. There is a lot to play for in terms of pride and I think our buys will want it more.
It will help with carney not playing and also if we play real halfbacks but I think we will grind it out.

I'd think we'd put a score on you. For a few weeks now we've had you in our sights and now were above you will want to hammer home our superiority.

Salford were only in the game against us for a few short spells, We dominated them. And I'd expect we will do the same. Dominate the game but you'll run a few points in when we fall to sleep in our dodgy patches.

Whilst I appreciate and understand your optimism I would expect/hope our boys will be out to prove to the fans that there is still life in the club and that we won't just roll over.
It's not like it should need a huge motivational speech is it - it's a derby for bragging rights over the close season.
