Hi,can anybody tell me whats wrong with ellis,thought he would drop in and aiton play at loose.Can't understand how he can't get a run out or even on the bench.Or is he not one of agars favourites?

Has been a talking point for weeks now, Nobody really knows the exact reason it may be beacause he is not 100% Fit or simply because Agar is happy with Aiton at hooker and is happy with Wood as interchange hooker which you can not question with the way that he has been playing. I think we will see him in the squad for the wigan game.

I haven't seen much from wood the last 2 games in all honesty. Ellis or wildie turn for me this week.

I would play Wood at halfback if fit Ellis at hooker with Wildie bench and Alton at loose

pretty hard to see much from him against catalans, what did he get 7 minutes when the game was over?

Yep, and around 10 minutes against London. I think he needs to come on with around 20- 25 Minutes remaining but i think we may see more from him as the season goes on.

Still no Ellis in the 19 man squad???

If R.A. has any sense he'll use squad rotation with such a short turnaround of less than 3 full days from an intense derby game to playing one of the best teams at their home ground.

In my opinion we've had enough games to see what Smith, John, Aiton and Wood can do in the half back and hooking psotions... Surely now its time to see what Ellis can do at hooker and maybe even give Wood a run at 7 to see what he can do..

Wood seems more like a hooker now to me. Smith anchors down that 1st receiver spot well for me. Wood is lively from acting half but is not as skilled as Smith. Wood seems like a run first player like Burrow of what i have seen.

My thoughts exactly - Smith doesn't always fire on all cylinders but when he does, he's one of the best passers of the ball in SL.

Wood looks more lively as he runs at the line more often, but it often comes to nothing.
