I had it confirmed earlier today by someone who's been professionally involved in our bid, but who is not a club employee, so I guess it added to my belief that we could get a reprieve.

as soon as the last lot of fans get parole they will be ok

Funding from directors/shareholders isn't considered as debt in the same way as money owed to the bank/HMRC/suppliers is.

At least someone speaks sense unlike the mighty dumb duller, the debt is nowhere near the amount he claims is rumoured, plus as you say the debts are mostly to the directors (directors loans arent proper debts), many clubs currently in super league have similar director loans.

Recent months have shown me that rumours on this forum have very little value.

For clarity - I'm not posting a rumour; simply stating that someone who has a business relationship with the club told me this morning that a) the licence application was extremely impressive and b) there is a growing sense that SL will be expanded.

Not a rumour - just an informed opinion that gave me a few extra straws to clutch.
