got all the information i wanted when i rang the club i spoke to a young lady that was quite helpful but couldn'tgive me all the answers i required si i gave her my number and a guy rang me back a few minutes later, answered every question i threw at him. he was more than hapy to talk through the shares thing with me. i will be picking my form up from the club shop tomorrow. i would urge any of you that keep saying there is no information , just to call and ask. they couldn't have been more helpful.

There may be quite a few wanting to do that by the end of the month.

Surely it would be easier for them to put the information out there rather than expect the fans to ring up and ask individually?

So what did you ask and what did they answer ?

1.will you be able fulfil your fixtures if you do not get this injection of money?.

2.If the current board of directors do step aside when this is all over,will they be allowed to re-apply when the new board is formed.

Only my opinion but :

1) Yes I would hope so, although I suspect we would have to go into admin first

2) Not if the club wants me and a large majoirty of the current fans to continue supporting them

All this reminds me of people selling time shares. They build up the interest buy telling people they will have chance to own the Club(timeshare) give out very little information at first instead getting you to commit to going along and having a look, all the while say their is no obligation and that you can pull out when you want. And then when you go to the meeting they give you the hard sell pulling the heart strings.

If they gave you all the cold hard facts on paper and give you time to make your mind up at you own leisure then you can make a balanced dicision. If you keep all the facts to yourself and then call meeting where they have a bunch of people telling you how if you do not do it the club will go under (TRB etc) making you feel substandard to them for wanting to know the true facts, then this is pressure selling at its worst.

It is good that you are forming a trust and will hopefully have a list of questions you want answers to ready for the meeting, but for gods sake make sure you all have singed assurance of what is going to happen before the money is released.
