| It clearly isn't working for france as there national team is poor, crusaders have a team full of second rate aussies and second rate english players with a poor average attendance and loosing money. Harliquins have just been a failure from the word go and no one cares about them apart from players from the north who want to go to London and finish there careers, and they too would be out of business if the rfl had brains. So why bother if it isn't working and just concentrate on improving where super league is strongest on the m62!!

| You just don't get it do you ??
The whole concept of Super League has nothing to do with live attendances of games, it is about Sky Sport subscriptions. Sky don't care if no one goes to games, it's all down to T V viewers spending their hard earned cash on a sky subscription

If this is the case, and assuming you are not been ironic, Sky are missing the point. I am fairly certain that Sky will get a bigger audience for say Pies vs Stains, or dare I say it Us vs Cas, than any game involving Les Cats, Quins or the Welsh mob.

| iirc, Sky's BRAB figures show that most of their Super League audience is actually in the south of the country.

| So after 4 years, we should give up on Wales? Wonderful. As I have said before, we have a 130+ year head start on them, as do many other clubs, and we hardly pull up trees ourselves with that advantage!
And if the French national team is poor, what about our own!

As opposed to England, who have a brilliant national team after 12ish English teams playing professional superleague rugby for 14-15 years? And France are supposed to have a good national team despite only having one professional club for four years?

Shame the BBC don't recognise that when they broadcast The SL Show only regionally (at a normal time).

As a club side, Catalan is working, and has been since the first season. I would miss going there if they didn't exist anymore.
Quins as a club side isn't advancing, and is arguably going backwards, but I'm told that their presence does a lot for the game in the south, and that the amateur game is getting stronger down there. There are now players coming through who are southerners.
Too early for Crusaders. Personally, I would lose no sleep if they failed, although I would rather see them succeed than not.

You have spelt Trinity, with their 130-odd years of M62 area existence, wrong. (Altho' I don't know if we are losing money. )
I would research that a bit more if I were you, a very unqualified statement with no knowledge of the here and now. A very strong area of RL now. You must not lose sight of the fact that SL isn't RL, and RL is most certainly not SL.

| It begins. How exactly does Crusaders, a new sprout of a club in Wales, have anything to do with the fact you lot can't get a ground sorted out. You know, I love Wakey fans.

Given that you avoided the drop a few seasons on the trot just to keep the Galpharm on the Super League, I am not surprised that you think that a ground is everything.
