Having our strongest defenders in Hood and Whitbread off the field was poor too. When they came back on their was a marked improvement in defence but the damage was done.

Though second was a very bad call from the ref if the guy had not slipped arm would have hit him well away from is head but still a dismal performance

Miller kicking on the 3rd in opposition 10 in last 10 minutes was criminal. His immediate response to not knowing what to do is put the boot to it.

Discipline was poor but the 12 players should have done better as a collective.

Ref gave a penalty for a high shot that never was. Bott holding top of his head like he was shot then moved his hand on floor. Replay shows the slightest brush across the cheek with minimal if any contact.

What I did not agree with was the Toulouse try. Yes Miller pulled at it but after that the ball fired forwards OFF the Toulouse players arm. Surely that’s a knock on? I could not understand how I’m a million years that would be given. It slightly bobbled then got pushed forwards by TO. Can anyone explain that?

Relegation has been coming for a few years.
Eventually running the squad on a shoestring budget catches up.
But this bunch that’s been put together in the main are heartless,unprofessional and out of their depth in Super League.
Added to that a coach who seems out of his depth,but I’m guessing like everything else at Wakefield - he was the cheapest option.
We will get our new “ revamped” stadium, but I fear it will be lucky to be a quarter full playing outside Super League.
An out of favour Hull prop and a “former” NRL star wont alter our fortunes this season.
I live in hope , but other than sacking Poching and I’m not convinced that will make any difference, I think it’s time to face facts - we simply don’t have the money to survive in SL.
