His ability under the high ball, in both attack and defence, is excellent and there would be little point in signing him just to put him back out on loan.
It's is very harsh on Jowitt, who, every time he looks like getting his hands on the FB spot, we sign another player in front of him and with signing Walker and having Hampshire back at the club, the lad is going to have to be more patient than ever.

I'm not sure how anyone can decide who should go out on loan before we've even started preseason training.

Surely as we will have a reserves competition in 2020 then loaning players out will be a waste of time.

Rocky after he turned the offers down was 'offered' to HKR by his agent, they declined. Don't think his agent has done him any favours.

It would be good Pop Tart of your simple but sensible plan of playing the best player in 1,6 and 7 were to instigated next season as it certainly was not a plan we adhered to in 2019 which was a case of Miller and Brough selected at 6 and 7 no matter what. If Rocky signs then he should play at 7.

My speculation is based on the majority of last season, where he played Fullback but the comment on a player going out on loan wasn’t really to do with Rocky, it was more to do with Walker and Jowitt, as I really can’t see why a club with limited funds would sign 3 fullbacks or sign any player only to loan them straight back out. I cant understand why people are happy about this - a mediocre player has held the club to ransom and looks like has won - taking money we could of probably sign someone who may take us further than the relrgation scrap we will be in- I am actually looking now as to who we will beat?
