Dont think I can recall Kirmond or Demetriou shouting v much when things weren’t going well … they both led by example on the field but no ranting at players behind the posts after conceding etc .

LMS is 36 and shows more pride , passion and effort than most of our players at half his age .Props are coming into their prime at around 30 , its not the signing of players of any age , it’s getting players that want to play for us ,that’s the problem ,and not treating us as a holiday camp ,or retirement home . Oust them at the earliest opportunity I say ,clear the decks . On a personal note I couldn’t give a monkeys if their 19 or 29 as long as they put the effort in and show pride in wearing the shirt ,something that has been sadly lacking for far too long by far too many ,and it’s simply unsustainable.

The club seems to be in limp mode, could it be because of the uncertainty regarding certain players.
I'm sure the club know now who will be stopping and who's going.
I personally don't know if Miller s a good player or not, I never have. He seems to float in and out of games without breaking any pots and very rarely has a barnstorming game.
I think he will probably go but who's available in our present situation.

He created 4 of our 5 tries as well as the 40/20. It always amazes me how every bad defeat is millers fault. When he's ripping it up at cas next season, perhaps those who don't watch the game properly might realise their error

Given that we only scored 4 tries that is quite a statement.
He had no involvement in Hood's try and Walker provided the kick for Tanginoa.
The official stats give him 2 assists .. along with the 40/20, 5 missed tackles, 2 errors and 16 carries averaging 2 metres per carry.

I know he has the class and ability to create play but he's inconsistent.
The main issue is his captaincy.
You're obviously a Miller fan, so you must know that he doesn't remonstrate with the players after tries have been scored, there is no dialogue. A captain's job is not just leading the team out - he has to lift his players and get into them but I see no sign of that. That's what I'm getting at.

He doesn't motivate, or rally. His general attitude. He doesn't inspire.
Not saying he's a bad player, or a bad person, he's just not a Captain.

depends how you look at it, in my mind I don't expect our play makers to be at the brunt of the tacking why would they as they have enough in getting the plays working on attack, I'm not condoning missed tackles or even saying they do none at all but generally it takes its toll to the player tackling the bigger lads

re. Miller going to Cas

Widdop has signed for them so it’s unlikely though not impossible that they’ll sign Miller as well.

Equally, I don't want him to stay because the team he wanted to go to changedvtheir mind.
He needs to commit.

Given that Widdop dislocated his shoulder on Sunday and has a history of shoulder problems, it may be that Cas will see Miller as a bit of 'insurance' in case Widdop is out for a long period or, God forbid, done for good.

I've just returned from holiday where I deliberately avoided the Toulouse result as a treat for when I returned, and got to say that after watching that horrendous shambles of a performance I don't care if Miller goes. Not saying he was worse than anyone else, but didn't notice him doing anything special like has been alluded to, and I'm sure that the one thing that used to make him stand out, his pace,as almost gone. I suppose I could look again but really don't want to!
