Quote ="jacques"Came over very well and importantly emphasised that ,although things were difficult,Trinity were on the 'right track'.
Let us not be too obsessed by the Bulls and take the positives from a professionally handled interview.
The guy came over as honest, astute and seems a good guy to 'front' Trinity.
I know that I was, and many others have been, taken in before, but Mr Carter has my support as we progress steadily.'"
For what its worth I was stuck in the car last night and heard the entire interview, to me Michael Carter came over very well. Particularly impressive was his recognition of what he himself can do and what he needs to get others to do. I was left with the impression that WTW will be a well run club with good governance and sensible delegation. He clearly has great faith in both Richard Agar and Kath Hetherington, it seems clear he will control the business and they will sort out the Rugby within the constraints he sets. He is spot on in saying that is the correct way to resolve the issues you have had.
I would add that as an observer I have felt that his openly posting on here was perhaps not the wisest at times, however on listening to him I am less concerned. The strength he brings you is good governance. It will take time and there may be setbacks but I now have the impression that for the first time in years you probably are on the right track to long term sucsess/sustainability.
