Catalans for me if we are looking to win it. They have been inconsistent all season and don't look particularly well coached. Whilst the same could be said of Cas, I think the local rivalry makes the game that bit more unpredictable. I'm also not sure how together the Catalans squad is, and whether they are really up for a play-off series with the prospect of weeks away back and forth if they are to get anywhere. As I said to a mate last night, if someone could guarantee me a win now, I'd rather play Cas.
As far as the night goes, Sat sounds better for post-match purposes.
Both sides can be dangerous. Catalan have a big set of forwards who can cause some damage and injuies. They also have players in Bosc, Mogg & Bird who can unlock defences but lack consistency and struggle away from home.
Castleford is always difficult due to the rivalry although i'd argue playing a Quins side who have self destructed & Celtics who are woeful is not good preperation coming into the play-offs. That said they are a good attacking side and in Chase have a match winner.
Tough either way, but i'm hopeful that we should beat either if we perform to our best
