Say you back a horse at 10/1 early morning and the 3/1 favourite pulls out of the race after you place your bet.

10/1 is now a massive value, and the bookies don't like it so the industry put a deduction of a certain amount per pound based on the price of the withdrawn horse. In this case a 3/1 non runner would result in a 25p rule 4, therefore for every pound you would have originally won back, you would only receive 75p of it.

My thinking exactly say someone tips a horse at 8/1 in the morning

Two come out during the day at 12/1 and 4/1 then one horse rears at the start and is pulled out at 10/1.

Deduct

2 lots of 10p and 1 lot of 20p in the pound then work out what he has won.

Hence why it is SP only on here!!!!
