| Next weekend, for personal reasons, I will be in London. Does anyone know of anywhere there where the game will be screened?
Thanks.

| Its on Sky Sports. If you haven't got it, get a 24 hour Now TV sports pass.

| It’ll be tough to find somewhere I’d have thought at 9am on a Saturday morning. I remember watching a Championshio game in the Sports Cafe years ago but that’s gone out of business.
I typed ‘sports bar’ in to Google and it comes up with the Carlsberg Sports Bar which is in the Empire Casino at Leicester Square. It’s open 24hrs but I’m not well up on whether you need any form of membership to get in to these places or if you can just walk in.
Other then that maybe a Walkabout bar? Maybe they open for breakfast.

| Thanks guys. Now TV looks a possible option. I will be staying with my son, he would have to set up an account in advance, but it looks doable from what I can see on their website.

| Actually, even that might not work; for reasons too tedious to go into, my son has no broadband at home. He relies on his mobile data. Whether that would be up to the task of driving a TV, I'm not sure.
Will it be live on Wigan TV?

I doubt it as it's a Superleague game and as such covered by their tv rights deal. If his mobile data is up to it he could use a chromecast stick to stream it to the tv.

| I have a Chromecast stick myself, although it was a bit of a mission to set it up. Not sure how feasible that is. I may have to accept I won't get to see it live. Obviously I can see the recording on Wigan TV later.
Anyway, I have emailed the Club to ask if they know of anywhere screening the game.

| Actually, there's a more general point there, in fact we were talking about this in the pub the other day. When you watch The Superleague Show (and Sky, I guess, but I don't have Sky), they show highlights of every Superleague match. So *someone* is recording (presumably) the whole of every game, not just what we call, in something of a misnomer, the 'televised' games. So whose cameras are these? Sky's? The BBC's? The individual clubs?

I'd put my money on it being the clubs own feed on the non TV games at least, becuase sometimes it does look a bit rough and ready when compared to the stuff sky show.
Just a hunch though.

After a bit of trawling through the internet, it looks like O'Neills of Kigs Cross might be your best bet.

They open at 8am on Saturday, serve breakfast and have Sky Sports.
I'd phone them first though, if you promise your custom I'm sure they'll put the game on for you...shame you'll be upset by the result!

The clubs’ own feed, that they use for training and review purposes, as well as showing on thier own websites. I do wonder, though, if the clubs get paid by the various media that use their coverage.

It'll be a requirement at League 1 and above for disciplinary reasons as well

| Where in London will you be coming from? I'm in SE London and the trains pull into Victoria so it mans the East/North London is not really viable for me but if you can get there I'm willing to bet the clubhouse at London Scholars is showing it; they do every other game in SL. It's in Wood Green up by the North Circular.
Philomena's in Covent Garden, Walkabout Temple, Rileys Haymarket will all be showing it if they're open. We also managed to convince the staff in Wetherspoons to put the CC semi final last year on in the one in Peckham (although I wouldn't wish Peckham on you) so that might be another option as they'll be open. We've also managed to watch a few games in Fitzrovia Belle on Tottenham Court Road but that was pure luck really.
As luck would have it were up north this weekend through to next Sunday for some house viewings and a city break so I'll be able to cadge my parents Sky to watch it instead of getting it by...other means...or having to find a pub in C London.

| I'll be in SW London on Sat morning (travelling down on Friday).
I did wonder about the Skolars, but it's a bit of a mission to get to North London at that time on a Saturday morning from where I'll be (Plumstead).
Although I did have a look on the Skolars' website the other day and saw no mention of it.
To be honest, I've virtually given up on the idea. I guess I can still hear the commentary on Wish.

| Plumstead is in Greenwich, SE London, no?
The trains there should pull into London Bridge. There's a ton of sports bars on Borough High Street.
I've looked on Match Pint which is usually pretty reliable and usually had 20+ results in the M25 has nothing. Probably a damning statement on the sport really.
EDIT: Joe Mills said last week he wouldn't be there so Wish may not even be covering it?

| Yes, I remember that about JM now you say it! Plumstead is more Woolwich than Greenwich.

| Sorry, I meant the Borough of Greenwich.
Woolwich is a good place to get in at the moment. It will be booming once the Elizabeth Line opens.
I hope you get to hear or see it in some form anyway!
