| We've put 3 wins together on the bounce after we got a few bodies back but today we potentially lost Tommy Leuluai to a jaw injury. I really hope it's not broken and wish him well.
Next up it's Castleford who lost narrowly to Saints and lost by 2 points at Hull. A win on Saturday puts us above them and I fancy us to go there are get a narrow win.
Luke Gale went off today and stayed off having failed a head test in the incident that got Liam Watts sent off and he'd be a big loss for Cas if he has to miss next week's game. Hope he's not hurt too badly.
Can't wait for this one!!

| I certainly didn't think after the last Cas game that we'd be going there with a shot of going above them.
Tough game and again it looks like we'll be missing rafts of players but they'll give it a go.

I still think Cas will be above us after the next game. But I told my dad 4 weeks ago after he went on about how good they were. That come Easter they will get found out with the depth of the squad and faster grounds and start to struggle.
Given we have so many missing and 1 point adrift makes mockery of the quality in SL. Our fitness levels is far and away the best in SL league. We need bodies back and they will start to drip back in over the next few weeks just in time for Super 8's. And Wane has a headache who he drops.
As you said I never thought we would be 1 point behind Cas I did not think we would win the 3 Easter games none were a gimmie games.

It's not just our position that underlines this. How Leeds are in the top 2 and Saints in the top 8 defies understanding.

It can be least seven days, depending on the severity of the injury and the quality of medical help available. It can take seven to ten days for symptoms to appear. It will depend on Gale showing any signs of concussion this week as to whether he will be passed to play. It's in the hands of the medics.
Of course he can tell the medics he is fine, if he is desperate to play. If he is sensible and if Cas care about their player, he won't.

| Cas may not have a massive squad, but they are no one-man team. Indeed, their success so far this season has come from playing as a team, rather than individual pyrotechnics. We will do very well to get anything out of our trip there.

| From listening on the radio yesterday we are more of a one man team. Sounded fully in control only when SOL was on the field?

Good point. He went off at 16-0 and the game should have been a stroll. When he came back on it was 'game on'. Our glut of late tries coincided with Lockers move to scrum half. He and George were particularly good together.

We managed alright without him through the Super 8s, semi final and most of the final last season! Lockers is a big player for us but we have plenty talent elsewhere when we aren't decimated by injury.

| I can only see a Wigan win on Saturday we have hit a bit of a blip and although the effort is there we have lost the last two games with disappointing performances.

We're up against it in the backs. Tomkins, Manfredi, Gildart and now Leuluai all missing. It'll be interesting who we use in the halves. Shorrocks is the natural replacement for Leuluai but he's out for the season too! Maybe Powell to 7 now that we have McIllorum back but we'd then need cover at 9 because MM is nowhere near ready to do a full 80. I shudder to think what we'll do the week after against Salford when O'Loughlin and Williams are in Oz!

Maybe a chance for Josh Ganson for the Salford game?

He's been playing superbly for the Academy, but I suspect Gregson might get the call up, he did a pretty good job last times he was in there.

| Can see Ganson playing against Salford, no idea what we're going to do this week though.
Something like
Escare
Davies
Gelling
Burgess
Marshall
Williams
Powell
Flower
McIlorum
FPN
Joel
Farrell
O'Loughlin
Isa/Naverette
Sutton
Tautai
Gregson (to play 9 or 6).
Didn't want to drop Bruce but need strong play in the centres.
Thank god; Davies, Marshall, Forsyth has been so good coming into the first team or else we'd be in big big trouble with these injuries.

I think it'll have to be something like that, MM isn't fit enough to play the full 80 yet, so Powell back to hooker when MM goes off, with Gregson into the halves. Other option would be to use Lockers at 7 again, with Powell or MM on the bench.

| It's a shame Sam isn't fit. It would have been a good opportunity to see how he goes in the halves. Powell is peobably the best shout for #7 with Gregson or Garson spelling at #9

| Yeah it could've been Tomkins opportunity to nail that spot. It sounds like him and Leuluai will be back around the same time. It's a sad way to think but I'm sure there will be other injuries before then which will open up spots for them.
As for Saturday I'd go Lockers at six with Isa at loose forward to help save McIlorum doing too many minutes. He'll need to do more the following week without doubt so they can't afford to over work him. I think the games a little too big and the atmosphere a bit too hostile to throw Ganson in (his time will surely come next week though).
