I argued that Ferres failed in his duty of care towards Gildart and deserved his ban. I also argued that Amor failed in his duty of care towards Marshall and deserves a 1 game ban.

I believe that Gelling although on a different scale has also failed in his duty of care and deserves a 1 game ban. Just my thoughts but player welfare has to be the primary consideration.

Seems deserved but how Kristian Inu got away with a penalty only on the field and a caution from the board is beyond me.

Gelling did lift the leg but I think it was the effect Powell had when he came in to tackle that made it look a lot worse making it a lot more dangerous.

That is why the ruling of when a leg is lifted in the tackle the referee shouts held to stop additional players entering the tackle.

He's taken the EGP, one match ban.

Looking on the bright side, hopefully he can get over his injuries for the cas game.

If SW didn't think he'd be right for Cas, I can't imagine he'd have used the EGP.

If you are charged with an offence, you have to use the EGP if its available, you can't save it for a future indiscretion.

You can contest the charge at the disciplinary hearing and if found not guilty will still have an EPG available.
