Keep hearing that from Wire fans but there aren't going to be too many inexperienced lads running out there and in a way I expect the absentees to work in Wires favour as our attitude is questionable.

The only real area I see open to target is one of the centre spots as it looks like a kid may fill in there. Other then that there's experience everywhere in truth including the bench.

Would put Bateman in for Lockers as he will take over when Lockers retires.

I would have benched Joel if Bateman hadn't been rested. As it is it picks itself, though I would drop Mossop to the bench.

Lockers has a thigh niggle according to the WEP so Bateman may come back in yet.

Either way I'd leave out Connor Farrell and Sam Powell.

Leaning Sam Powell out would mean MM doing the full 80, which would not bother MM but Wane seems to favour spelling him.(which often seems to mean a fall off in intensity)

Lockers did about 10 mins there at Magic didn't he? (Could have dreamt that) That's the only rest I think MM needs in big games and as a side I don't think we can afford to have him off the field much longer.

Like you say though Wane seems to favour having Powell on the bench but he's added pretty much zero this season.

Powell has been poor off the bench, he looks lost and not sure what type of game to play, when Williams covered the bench spot he offered a running game. I would have expected Powell to add to the kicking game taking pressure off the halfs but he just gives MM a rest and fills a space on the pitch

Looking forward too seeing the Manfredi and Gelling partnership again and also JT back in the second row. He is 10 times the player there.
