If that is approved, it will be interesting to see what type of team we send to Saints on Friday, you would imagine we would support Prescott's testimonial more than Roby's?

Just got back from the 260 mile round trip & "pi**ed off" doesn't cover it.
The pitch may well have been swimming at 12, but that's when it stopped raining and by the time people were turning up (I got there at 2:15), the sun was out, the breeze was up and not a puddle anywhere. That pitch would have been more than playable by 3 o'clock.

Was SW worried the players might tear a nail, or get their hair messed up or som't?

All games have to be ratified by the RFL, and they need confirmation that match officials are available.

At the time Wigan announced it was off the Ref hadn't even made a pitch inspection, he was due to make it at 12.45, but Shaun Wane wasn't happy with the pitch and didn't want to play on it. The 2 clubs were quite amicable about it, which you'd expect seeing as it seems Town are about to be confirmed as your new DR partner club soon.

I don't think a game against Workington away on a Tuesday night is gonna set him up for life. Although I do accept your point, my 6 hours on a coach today was extremely selfish. I'll put in my annual leave request so I can make it on Tuesday.
