Just paid for my ticket online (like an early Christmas present

On there is a car park ticket (free as a 'national warrior' - which I assume is a nice gesture because I live in South Wales). Would this be a ticket for the tarmac park behind the East Stand ?
I assume the 'free for all' car park off the ring road (the one past B&Q) will still be open for 2014 ?

It will be the big tarmac car park behind the East Stand. Edinburgh Warrior who travels down for most games posted a couple of weeks ago that he had received his free parking.

A great gesture from the clum IMO.

Do I get one travelling from Billinge? I deserve it putting up with the plastic scousers, settlers, townies etc. in our fair village.

It is a nice offer, but I prefer the one by B&Q because its the quickest way out at the end of the game. Once the barriers come down, to get out from the nice car park, means going the long way round.

You don't have to go the long way round. Drive to the South East corner exit of the car park and turn right up towards B&Q. It's the way I go all the time.

Thanks Rogues. I thought the barrier came down on that way out at the end of the game (they are always down when we come out) ? Do the security open them up if you want to leave that way ?

Any one know what criteria defines a National Warrior, I.e. how far away do you have to live?

well I live 100 miles away and have got the free car park....anyone closer got one...???

I renewed our season tickets on Thursday and asked about the free car parking ticket as I had read about Edinburgh Warrior and live almost 50 miles away. I was told the offer applied to the 50 season ticket holders who live the furthest away. Not sure whether that starts therefore at 60, 70 miles etc.

Well I'd like to know as I had to pay for mine! Living in Chester is hardly local!

It must be over 50 miles, see previous posts. 100 miles gets you one, so somewhere in between is the cut-off point as only the top 50 furthest away get the free car parking pass.

About 35 miles, but M62 on a Friday night feels like 135miles ! not complaining I think it is great gesture by the club and well done those top 50.
