Just heading back.
We were a bit scrappy but git the job done. They got given a try to make it 14-10 that was a disgrace from the officials. They dropped the ball over the line but that seemed to drive us on.
Williams MOM, Hampshire and Shorrocks busy, Manfredi and Taylor a handful and a good effort by the pack.

Thought Williams bossed it, very impressive display from him in both attack and defence.
The big 17 also caused the Leeds team no end if trouble.
Great foot race for the Leeds break away try, thought Manfredi was fast but Rocky just had the edge.

Excellent performance from Wigan. The pack bossed the game and George Williams was superb. how that Leeds try was allowed beggars belief, it was a brilliant chase back and tackle by Hampshire. The winger must have had 10 yards start on Hampshire yet he got back to make a brilliant tackle.
The most impressive thing is that 15 of those players will still be available for the U19's next year.
Joe Bretherton at 17 years of age was very impressive off the bench, he's going to be a monster of a lad as he develops.
