Did anyone else watch this? I'd like to know what they were smoking when they came up with the top 10 list. [spoiler - no Wigan tries

Our best tries of the season came in the Challenge Cup Quarter Final win over Warrington IMO so they wouldn't have featured, but I would of thought a couple of Sam's tries would of been in there.

- Chip over the top v Leeds at Headingley
- Two tries v Hull at the KC
- Length of the field try v Bradford at home

The no1 try was NOT the best try of the season it was pretty average

same crack every year

Is there anywhere i can watch these tries?

Sky are morons when it comes to things like this. On the season review on their website, some joker picked Kevin Sinfield as player of the year

The Hull FC try for Yeaman highlights the ability Luaki has

its repeated a few more times yet...but save your time, it was a borefest tbh

What were the top 3, or top 1, even?

Can't believe that top 10 list. There was many other tries which could have made the list.

I watched Wigan's top tries for July and August 2011 on Youtube and I can't believe not one of them featured in the top 10. Ok some of them were Challenge Cup tries but they were top quality tries, especially when Sam Tomkins was in the form, which should of seen him win the Man of Steel.

Reflecting back on 2011, all the awards have been a joke...

I watched the first three minutes I think the last try I saw was Blanchs against Hudds. I just couldn't see what they were trying to do.

It wasn't chronological as it was something like round 8, round 15 round 6.
If it was the best tries then put bloody numbers next to it to order them in their greatness.
I'd have had a premiership years style programme where it goes through the season and almost a season review.

Just to answer some of the oucries on here I think the tries were all the ones that were from the live matches on Sky.

it was a 'super try' by each team. after the break was the top ten breakdown.

They could have shown double the amount of tries if they didnt keeep showing replays of tries.

I've also not seen this programme on sky, i also don't know the result

But if the international games were taken into account, then Ryan Halls wonder finish against Australia was clearly the best try of the season

Thinking about it, it just puts it into perspective how poor skys coverage of RL is over all. Its obviously put together by someone who couldnt care less. If only shows like this could be run by someone with genuine RL passion, it could be great. Just another one to add to the list of how our sport is being run in third gear.

I don't know why they didn't hand it over to Wells to present and make something of it.

I think the fact that Sky decided that an entire season's worth of "Super Tries" from Super League was only worthy of a half-hour time slot says it all about their attitude to the programme

If Wigan had scored the best try it would no doubt have been the best programme ever
