It is totally known that officials are told what to do at some grounds! saints and warrington fans are the best for doing it! there were 3 or 4 marginall forward passes that were screamed at by the saints fans and either the ref or touch judge took the crowd on

why are Wigan fans not as vocal in calling the opposition for forward passes

I'd rather we didn't scream forward everytime a ball is passed, just sounds desperate and a bit daft imo. If a pass is forward, then fans often do shout for it, unlikely that it affects the officials decision though.

Maybe it would be better not to throw passes forwards?

it's become common for Dire & Stains fans to chant "Forward" because they have no imagination and creativity in creating their own chants.

All this screaming of forward pass is prevalent when wigan are playing. This should come as no surprise as wigan have a tendency to to stretch the boundaries where passing is concerned. McGuire should have spent less time coaching dirty tricks and spent a little time on handling techniques.

Yes it really does my head in hearing FORWARD after almost every pass. Saints fans have always done it but last night they seemed worse than ever.

On saying that though there was quite a few forward passes thrown by us last night and its been clear for the last few weeks that our timing and passing game has been off the mark. Too many loose passes going to ground and behind players as well. We just have not been as slick since Wembley for some reason.

Forward passes have been rife all season. It seems to be an RFL directive that unless blatantly forward, they should be let go.

There were a few marginal ones last night from both teams and 1 or 2 blatant ones that were missed. Unfortunatley over the season there have been some match winning forward passes missed.

It definatley needs sorting for next year.
