I don't usually post on other boards. But have just heard that there are Crusaders fans walking from Wrexham to Wigan raising money for Richard Moore's son. They are at Lymm Truck Stop tonight. I believe that Wigan have refused to give them free tickets for the game. This is not meant to cause upset, just wondered what fans view is.

But no seriously I'm not happy about that it's not as if the game will be a sell out tbh I bet if they can get through to lenegan direct they will get something or tweet some players on twitter. Pats big on charity I think so he will probably be happy to help.

Sadly I can't make the game but i don't think my single seat season ticket in the east stand will be of much use to you ha.

Whoever made that decision is a bit cold-hearted. I could understand if the game was going to be a sell out but it isn't.

Are Heinz not going tickets away or selling for a couple of quid each. They must have some left?

Don't ask me how, it's a long story, but, I've got 4 tickets spare for the Crusaders section of the East Stand. Technically they're for 2 juniors and 2 adults, but as they are season ticket exchange tickets they don't state who they're for. If the folks walking the route can use them, and someone can somehow get them from my place of work in Shropshire, then they can have them.

When did they request the free tickets (it does seem odd if they did request them, unless it was requested on their behalf)? If it was short notice then it doesn't surprise me. As Wandering Warrior said, who decides what is a worthy charity? If 5,000 people took part in a charity event and then wanted to watch a Wigan game would Wigan have to give them all free tickets? It's best to sort these things out well in advance, designating a certain number of tickets to be given out rather than handing out free tickets on request.

I think there are only 3 people but not sure about that. It is now sorted. Thanks to everyone who answered.
