Thought he was really complementary today about Rugby League... What a change from the Steve Ryder days at the BBC...

I thought he was as good if not better than any of the others who front Live RL games.

what did everyone think of the coverage today,I know the bbc don't normally give R.L the respect it deserves but didn't think they did a bad job,refreshing to see chappers having a go.thoughts ?

It was really good.

Better than sky have atm.

Apart from the lack of HD Blurrovision thought the coverage was good and Chapman very good.

Chappers, Nobby & Jiffy were excellent though.

It was funny after the game noble said it was an extremely tiring game for the players and he was tired just watching. Then the camera went onto the studio a few minutes later and he was in the middle of a huge yawn!

He used to do Rugby League Raw 'back in the day' and is a big RL fan I believe. Surprised it's taken so long for him to present the BBC's coverage, though I hope Claire Balding still gets the odd game as well.

Chappers looked genuinley exited to be covering RL and looks a big fan, good to see Roy Keane in the crowd too.

Can't stand chapman since his days on radio 1. His voice grinds on me. It's like he's got a permanent cold and he comes across as being fake.

I enjoyed the Beeb's coverage to be honest. Seemed to get short shrift with the time slt which didn't really allow for much of a post-match discussion. Chappers was genuinely enthusiastic I think. Dave Woods is the best RL commentator by a mile too IMO

He has a genuine passion for RL always used to mention it on the Radio, think he is a wire, but regardless good to have such a guy presenting our code.

Best comm team would be Phil Kinsella and Dave Woods

i wondered who the tall bloke was with noble/davies from the back of the stand at wire, had no idea it was him until i watched leeds/hull game today and I thought he was very good

She's back for the semi finals. She didn't do these games more because she was presenting the Horse Racing on BBC ONE yesterday.

Bollox, so we lose an enthusiastic knowledgeable rugby league supporting presenter to be replaced with an enthusiastic unknowledgeable Robbie Paul stalker? Great.

She probably sees it as a promotion.

Miss Balding is a very good RL presenter. She has admitted she is in awe of the players and is very enthusiastic about the code.

She is also on her way to becoming a national treasure "type" and is known throughout the land. We could do far worse than her.

I think she is fantastic personally.

Dave woods was very good and kear seemed to latch onto his enthusiasm which added to the excitement of the game, Woods' shouting of both sam and joshs tries where classics IMO

BBC coverage was first class.Why o why don't Sky learn and split the roles of studio presenter and commentator.One reason Hemmings is so disliked,is that he is over exposed.Give him either the commentary role or the presenters job,but not both - and obviously,just get rid of Stevo.
