Can't see anything other than the 1966 World Cup Final or Band Aid winning this, but Wigan's 1994 Challenge Cup final versus Leeds (yes, THAT Offiah try) has been shortlisted. Remember it well and was certainly a great game and an awesome day...but by its inclusion it's being called the greatest RL event at Wembley? Not sure about that.
But then the list also includes Take That, England vs Croatia, Charlton vs Sunderland and various FA Cup moments...

Greatest moment for me was Roberto Di Matteo scoring for Chelsea after 42 seconds in the FA Cup Final 1997.
The trouble with these things is not everybody saw everything, and not everybody likes certain events, so whatever the result, it's very subjective.

I was there and still got the ticket stub.
I think it was the last time that Wembley allowed 100,000 on.
They had already reduced the attendances for the football by then. |

1994 is MY best wembley moment, I was 13 and it is my favourite game day ever (well on a par wi last years grand final with our lad)- was red hot that day too which is always a bonus!!!
