We have sold out the two home stands, actually (north and east). Just not the most expensive one.

When was that? They werent sold out against Warrington.

yes they were, the problem was the stand facing the camera was nearly £30 so no one bothered!

The North and East Stands were both sold out against Warrington. The South Stand tickets had been priced at £26.50. They are selling only South Stand tickets for the Quins match, regardless of whether the North and East Stands are sold out, and they are selling them cheaper plus a 'bring a friend' bonus of £10 a ticket. There have been a few teething problems with arrangements for our temporary home but that is to be expected, especially given that the club were also trying to organise the closing down of Knowsley Road and the build of the new stadium at the same time. Logistical nightmare.

Anyone know whether or not it'll be unreserved seating for our game at Widnes? What was the crack when Wire played there?

Believe it was unreserved when Wire were there. Reserved seating would give it that little bit extra capacity but I'm not sure the tiny West Stand concourse would be able to cope with it, personally?!

They should reserve seat it really. In 2007 when we went to Widnes in the cup, I had a ticket for the east end but me (and about three others) wern't allowed in it because it was full so had to sit with the Widnes fans. Same last year for the cup tie. We were scrambling to find seats in the away end. I know they are supposed to allow room for manoeuvre but it was barely noticeable. Doesn't work that well in a stand half the size of our south stand.

Just give Wigan the North Stand and allocated seating, simple.

It makes financial sense for them too. Even if there's only 250 more seats on sale if they reserve them, that gives them an extra 5k per game they sell it out at £20 each.

I think that's exactly why it'd be more of a problem if it was reserved to be honest - how many people sit in their allocated seats at Hull KR etc? That'd cause a big problem with a sold out West Stand at Widnes (plus with the size of the concourse I'd be very surprised if they're allowed to fill it to it's seating capacity).

Why cant they play the game at Goodison or Anfield

Cause they can't fill Widnes.
