I don't think he will get a gig in Oz given he seems to struggle with his fitness and I think he knows it. And for that reason you have to respect his decision to leave all the more. He could have stayed with us for another year and earned good money but he's put family before that.

Great to see him get the opportunity to give the salute in the GF. Pity it came at Pat's expense of course but you know what, the whole thing went right over the head of the BBC commentators on the highlights today. Yep he wasn't exactly accurate with the boot but it just added that little something to the occasion you will never forget if you were there.

At the home coming all the players walked off the stage and back onto the open top bus.

Not Piggy though, he walked off the stage and straight into the Moon Under Water then walked back to the bus beaming like a cheshire cat holding two pints of lager.

Cunningham's record should tell you all you need to know. There isn't much hype about KFC IMO that isn't deserved. I admit this international record could have been better but he has been the best player of the Superleague generation - and I don't even like the guy!

If you think Piggy is a legend and KFC is nothing but hype, well, words fail me.
