No but if you look at the bigger picture it shows that you were the most consistent team over the season and it gives you garaunteed home fixtures against "easier, lower placed opposition"

It is a pathetic trophy, but what it symbolises is an excellent achievement & something the club should be proud of.

There are 13 other Superleague clubs who would love to win it this season.

No-one cares about it this year apparently.

Sure, the one to win is the Grand Final... but you would of thought the RFL would of put a bit of effort into designing a trophy which ultimately represents the best side over all the rounds of the competition.

Up until about 7 or 8 years ago they didn't even have a trophy in Italy for the Serie A champions. They just finished top and that was that. Oh they could wear a badge the season after on the thier shirts to show they were the champions.

It is definitely one of the cheapest and most effortless looking trophies in the world. The SL trophy is nowt special either. Both are like the designer just couldn't be d.
