10 years waited for this, gone through a lot of low moments. But in the last 10 years. What do you feel was our lowest moment?

Its easy to say the 75-0, but with the team we had out, it was hardly a surprise after losing 70-0 the previous week.

I thought the 50-odd points put past us at Cardiff with Mathers(the card board cut out) at FB worse than the 75-0.

Also being bottome of the league with about 6 games to go was pretty nerve wracking! Huddersfield game anyone?!!!

Even the Huddersfeld home game of a few years ago, putting 30 points on us at the JJB, and the South Stand screaming blue murder at the players behind the sticks as another Fartown conversion sailed over the sticks!

Lowest for me was losing to Wakefield away (the pat richards "no try"icon_wink.gif never felt so dejected as a Wigan fan.

East Stand, you have to go through the lows to appreciate the highs! Looking back at some dreadful moments just shows what Madge has done for us. Even though under Nobby, you always felt with a bit of luck we could have won the GF, no doubt we are a much better side now, regardless of the play offs.

first game of last season vs Wakey at the JJB. A sad realisation that despite the potential we were due for yet another year of poor underachieving rugby and dull play.

been a lot of lows for me whilst watching Wigan which is making me appreciate this year so much more. one of my lowest points has been the Catalans semi final in 2007, first time I cried at rugby since 75-0...

what have been the highs of the last decade of rugby league?

Low: Huddersfield match.
High: probably saints this season, wire away though was a very, very joyous occasion.

Lows:

Hudds @ home. Disgraceful. "Not fit to wear the shirt" - Embarassing, harsh, true.
70-0 followed by 75-0 - A combined 145-0 in 2 games showed how bad we really were a that point.
Wakefield away - Pat's "try". Had me in tears on the terraces.

Highs:

31-30 - Bradford away
20-19 - Bradford Home
Any time we've beaten Saints
Saints at Murrayfield - Bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, Na na na na na
70-0 down at Leeds and "We're having a disco"
The fact that our attendance went UP in the year that we very nearly went down.

2002 Cup win, 2006 game at Leeds when we knew we were staying up, 31-30! list goes on!

That was a bad one. I had decently high hopes for that season before that game.

Good Friday 1980.

Highs: Hearing we were getting Brian Noble, 31.30, thinking we'd turned a corner when we beat Hull 66.6 at home following the fans forum, Stuart Fielden's reaction to scoring a try v Wakefield in the league last year,hearing we were getting rid of Brian Noble, positive vibes coming out of the club following the appointment of Madge and Wane, finally winning at the HJ, beating Saints at KR, sitting on the coach with Hull fans after thrashing them at home, getting through so many potential banana skins unscathed, realising we're still 4 points clear of Wire despite losing to them last week and how much a big game takes out of them, getting Sky Sports 1,2,3 and 4 til after the playoffs finish for only £8 a month.

Lows: getting Ian Millward as coach, 75 nil, losing to Saints at magic weekend, losing to Catalans/Wire/Leeds in cup, defeats to Huddersfield at home and Rovers away (Dobbo kicking us out of the game 2008 I think), losing to Leeds in playoffs in 2008.

You are very lucky. I've been waiting still 1996, when we had the last great side. The lower moment for me is when Sheffield beat us in the Challenge Cup.

One of the best bits is that we are going into every game confident of winning these days instead of thinking 'oh we may be able to scrape a win here' or 'id be happy losing by 4' which I have heard a few times.

Definate High - The signing of Dobson!
At last it seemed Wigan were gonna start to at least fight for survival.
The games that followed were excellant for not just the scores but the emotions and fans that had stuck with it, gave me goose bumps singing "loyal supporters" and knowing that many of us had seen through some of the worst games played in a Wigan shirt.

Low points - the 2005 season as a whole and obviously the start of 2006. The 2008 flogging by Hudds.

High points - survival in 2006. The wins at Leeds in 06/07 and 08. This season.

EDIT - the defeat to Crusaders last season away was an extremely low point actually. Only time i've been embarrassed to be a Wigan fan I think.
