Anyone who wishes death on a sportsman/woman on the basis of them leaving your team really does need to get a life.

Didn't hear the chant. Given the numbers they brought I thought they were pretty quiet .

Possibly the biggest away support they've taken to anywhere in a good few years though (finals discounted).

I remember Bratfut fans singing similar when Dean Bell got sparked at Elland Rd in a CC semi (can't remember which year). Had very little respect for them ever since.

Tbh i think you should be worrying about ur own fans rather than our songs ! the amount of ur fans leaving 10 minuites before the hooter was nothing short of embarrasing !! and then the rest as the hooter sounded .. must of been about 1000 fans left at the end to clap ur players off after a win ! not sure i heard one song from ur lot tonite apart from two drums making a racket all game .. or the slight cheer when you score a try or want a penalty..and how someone could say we were quiet

And we were the team that got beat ... and they were the part timers that come out of nowhere for the big games.. and first to abuse the players and staff when we loose .. not 3/4 of the fans leaving 10 minuites before as there teams gets through to the semi-finals

This chant should never be used in our game, i recall saints fans singing it to Newton not too long ago.

After reading most Salford supporters posts in regards to the topic, it appears as though that type of mentality is normal for them. I don't whether that's the way they're brought up or whether it's filtered down from the terraces of Old Trafford but regardless of where it stems from, we don't need it in our game.

Before everyone starts taking the moral high ground on here, there were a large minority of Wigan fans wishing death on Whelan not too long ago.

This thread isn't about taking the moral high ground - I wanted to see people's perceptions of the chant. I found it really offensive and low - so wanted to asks people's perceptions also to see if it was just me overreacting.

But wasn't there a vast majority condemning those few idiotic posts?
