Hull FC and Wakey have the same sponsors as last season so their kit could have been signed off months before Wigan's.

On one of the FB banter pages there's a guy keeping tabs and his last photo showed 6 kit releases for next season so far

Nah - Saints kits aren't out yet (home shirt teased a bit on the squad number announcement so I suspect it will be soon enough).

KR appears to have said they'll be out in time for Xmas, if that's the case then nowt to worry about. If they're not and other RL kits by the same manufcturer are, that's not great - particularly using Covid and Brexit as the reason given that's not exactly news is it.

As above the probable reason behind any delay (are we actually delayed yet, still five weeks to Christmas so plenty of time) is the fact we have had to find a new main sponsor. Then add in current shipping and customs timescales you can see why its knocked us on a bit. If we are still here on December 20th, then we've mucked up big time (kids presents) but the feeling I got from that KR interview didn't give off any major issues.

People shop well in advance of Christmas and if they’re not out by Black Friday then you’ve missed peoples last payday before Christmas.

Well yes, obviously it matters.
Any business knows that finding new customers is much harder than retaining existing ones. In the world of sponsorship if you can develop genuine, long-lasting relationships it can be really significantly beneficial.

But it also suggests other things that could also affect people who spend corporate money below the club's headline deals: namely [iwhy[/i don't sponsors renew? Some will inevitably have just wanted it to be for one year, end of story. Fine. But that is not usually the case and I have absolutely no doubt the club is concerned at their inability to forge some of the long-lasting corporate partnerships which are the bedrock of the finances for other clubs.

Or maybe we got an offer for more money from the next sponsor and decided not to renew? For all we know each of those sponsors could have paid more than the last.

Given the undignified scrambling around each year to get a new one signed up this is doubtful.
It's a genuine issue the club has faced for some time now.

Quite willing to confidently predict the kit will be out late November/early December. Honestly the panic is laughable.
