The 19 named doesn't mean a thing anymore. Wane has named a different side to what was in his 19 the last 3 games.

I agree. As much as I don't like Wane, you can't knock his ability to galvanise his team and get them up for when it counts. He doesn't hide the fact that he hates us and he instils that into his players too. It's a bit of cliche but whatever 17 you have out on Friday will be hugely motivated and very competitive.

2012 - Dead rubber a week before the play offs with McIlorum getting sent off early on

I know that will be seen as me making excuses but I genuinely think we would have beaten Saints in both of those games had they not been meaningless fixtures taking place the week before important games

I agree with the 2012 one but let's not forget we had key players missing in the 2013 game too.

Fair enough, no shame in scoring 3 tries apiece without our four main men though I'm sure you would agree. Certainly not indicative of a trend of us performing poorly in the second derby of the year as was suggested

Yeah I'd agree with that. Certainly mitigating circumstances in the last 2 years.
