I will interested to see what team Hendo puts out for this weekends game.
I understand he may give some of the regulars a rest, for what is a bit of a nothing game.
Still we need to get back into winning ways, Workington wont be a push over, so lets not turn up and assume we are going to win easily.

Isn't it the point that you carry your league points tally into the releg8s? if so you cant consider it a nothing game, the points from winning the last two games may prove quite important in finishing top within the group. Otherwise might find ourselves too far behind some teams around us.

We are now in a nothing tournament. It must have cost half a million pounds, not making the middle eight. So we are playing for scraps.
The TV exposure would have been good too. It will ultimately make little difference to our club.

I think they need someone who directs the traffic. A Dymock or Hetherington or someone prepared to take that role. That is where we've never seen the contribution that Mathers might have been able to make. Unfortunately Wes is not as close to the action nor I am not certain whether he is as aggressive and vocal. I think Nasso, Barthau and Cunningham are more doers rather than shouters, one of them needs to take the latter controlling role.

It could have been a larger points difference in the scoreline. Town gifted you 12 points from simple errors and had they taken their chances better they could have scored another couple of tries themselves. Town tackled London out of the game and some of your players didn't want to know. Town's forwards made good yards every play and for London John Walker and Glen Riley ran hard in the forwards. Kear at full-back played well and took several very high bombs with a gusting wind very comfortably.

It's looking like we've put the cue on the rack already, as we're one win away from safety and the players are probably already looking to 2016. The spare wheel hubcap will probably interest Fev and the like, but I don't see us getting anywhere near it unless Henderson makes it clear to the squad that in the middle 8's, they are playing for their 2016 places!
Thoroughly depressing season that regardless of the "every second counts" crap spouted by the RFL has pretty much underwhelmed and certainly has nowhere near delivered!

That is probably true, they may know we are moving to the next best thing to park rugby next season and are totally not interested. How can a team which was SL last year (admittedly we were bad but we were SL none the less) be beaten this way time and time again. It is not a one off. How can a team of full timers not even make top 6 never mind top 4. Disgraceful they should hang their heads in shame while they of course take their pay packets. They may not be interested enough to play but surely they should have some pride in themselves. Probably improve soon when they are looking for new clubs and put themselves in the window. Contracts mean nothing - look at Mathers, Salford etc.

After the dreadful performance at Dewsbury. I am so pleased that I made the decision not to travel up to Workington.
I don't expect them to win, but I do expect a performance out of the team. Don't think that was the case yesterday.
