| T'was hoping to see pie-eaters in the final given that I have tickets. I'll just have to watch them next Saturday instead. Ablett/Hall what a combo.

| Maybe we should go back a year or two and look at all the threads on here saying what a garbage coach he is, and he was the cause of all our woes
Maybe when powell moves on and takes over at lets see, yeah send him to warrington or saints and see him win silver with players than can be bothered at a club that want to be bothered!
Possibly not just the coach? maybe its summat deeper

| That is not a bad call MB. Watched Mac a few times and the players were not up to the basic tasks in training and he was going nuts.

| Leeds stars! rose to the occasion, a scrum half playing at hooker and Sinfield who so many love to know, though they always did that to Andy Farrell?
Yes the Rhino's in the final again, but much thanks to Refree Ben Thaler however bad Wigan were on the day, two gifted tries such a clear knock on and Thaler was stood at the side of it and a penalty which lead to an instant try that was not a penalty, at times our game gets more like wrestling was playing to a script? Also what has happened to defences in rugby league it can look like tick rugby sometimes.
Glad we got rid of Mac he was not right at the time for us, but even Powell is worse!

Always pleasing to see Wigan get beat!!
It will be interesting to see how Wane will respond to this defeat.

I will not perhaps go as far as Rob from Erith goes! but as usual that very small minority who live in a different world than the rest of us think he was Great! how quickly memories fade the campaign to get rid of Brian was a prolonged as it currently with Powell! - It was a pleasure to witness personally some of Brian's after match conferences, often wondered which world he lived in, perhaps still the military

| I've never liked BM, humourless and seemingly unable to inspire players when at London. However, he's found his feet now, matured as a person and a coach. Just a shame he wasn't a rounded person whne he was with us.

| Dave lister - leeds fan/supporter. Listy must remember to send you that photo of you in your new leeds shirt.
Thaler - was clearly singing the "yorkshire yorkshire" song most of the match, how else can we explain some of his decisions
macdumbnut - is clueless and talentless and is very lucky to have a bunch of experienced players who are still hungry to lift trophies

36% win ratio for Mac at Harlequins RL.....far better than Towells, but still terrible.....as most of us said, it would take 2 years, maybe 3 for the truth to become apparent at Leeds......
Below are the win ratios for Leeds over the last few seasons.......he is a terrible coach.
2012 = 60%
2011 = 55%
2010 = 63%

| Terrible coach who has lifted the GF and WC Cups
Failed at wembley but has another final in a months time
I cant stand the bloke but credit must be given.
Its about winning at the right time. Note Wires changed approach this year. Resting players etc. Pick off the big games which Mac seems to be able to do.

Did you watch the game with the tele off?
Sky Sports' Golden Boy Sam Tomkins handed Leeds the game. Okay, every player drops the ball but his other two errors were glaring! His first, watching the ball roll dead when everyone in the ground could see Sinfield inside the 40 and his other of mouthing off to the officials when he should have been getting into a defensive line.

Your data seems to have missed the bit where McDermott won the Super League and got to a Challenge Cup Final in 2011 and he awaits another appearance in a month's time.

Nope.....his team, which was assembled by someone else BTW, won the 2011 SL as soon as they ignored him and played the way they were coached before he arrived. Whilst they listened to him, they finished 5th and conceded the most amount of points in a regular season since 2002.
