anyone know if club going to be printing our shirts with the few sponsors we have, as promised at beginning of season. we were advised we could have shirts early so ready for start of season, but would be finished when sponsorship finalised. reckon bit late for major sponsor now. they should select a charity or something similar, dont cost club money unless they have sponsors knocking at the door which they dont appear to have as yet.

If we put a charity on our shirt we would need to bk it up by actually doing something to promote the charity, not sure our office staff can handle the pressure of doing their current workload, never mind the additional task of a functioning charity program to compliment the sponsor on the shirt.

would we have to do anything to advertise a charity for free ??? not sure what we did for cancer research. had that one evening where they came down collecting money. ironic thing with that was i would have bought the shirt had it had cancer research on replica shirts. didnt, so when people take the mickey about such a coloured shirt, you couldnt even show them the cancer research sticker. all rather odd that. how can you sell replica shirts errr when they not replica

But when's there is no-one at the club willing or able to liase with that charity then it becomes an issue, as you say it should be a relatively easy thing and one that is win-win when there is no-one chomping at the bit for a bit of cheap advertising.

Mr Gutterfax suggested the club try to hook up with a charity back in Feb when it became obvious that they weren't going to get a paid shirt sponsor.....she mentioned Capital Radio's Help a Capital Child as a potential win win for the club.
The club getting a mention on Capital FM from time to time as the official sports club of Help a Capital Child would, dare I say it, generate more interest in London Broncos RL than anything that has happened in the last 6 months....

It would only have gone in the same direction as the partnership with the Evening Standard.

I think they were that night because of Purdo's testimonial. They were certainly one of his charities.
