| Whitehaven got just shy of 5k for their cup tie with Saints....4,869.
2012 was the last time London Broncos achieved a crowd that size for the visit of 'classy" Saints......let that sink in.
Shows what can be achieved when the host club makes an effort.......
EDIT: That Saints game in 2012 was 4,924. So not far off Hughes's 5k figure.....since that cold February day London have won 23 games from 104 matches in 4 SL seasons, so whilst Hughes was ignoring marketing and spending his money on players and development, we were pretty crap on the field as well as dire off it.
He really is clueless. He had 5k fans watching a SL side in a purpose built Rugby stadium and he managed to spend millions turning us into a L1 standard side watched by 500 die-hards in a soccer stadium......that's a special type of stupid!

| 15 seats sold in the south stand as of 5.30pm Monday UK time
Little or no chat from bulls fans about coming down
Zero event marketing from the home side.
Broken/malfunctioning website and ticket portal
Twitter continues to be an afterthought....lunchtime Monday a tweet saying we hope to see you on Sunday....really working the FOMO there...
Still no email sent which is amazing given it is the only channel open to some after monkeys blanket bans
I despair.

I think it's still open, the problem is the banner (advertising Bradford) now takes you to the Dewsbury match.
You couldn't make it up.
Wait for somebody to turn up on Sunday thinking they have a Bradford seat, and if they get through the turnstiles, find somebody in their seat.

| In fairness we did say they should push the Dewsbury game although I don’t think anyone had forseen this approach. As you say Smithers you simply could not make it up. Textbook incompetence.

I’ve just worked it out it’s not incompetence it’s deliberate. It’s April Fools Day. Only logical explanation. Gee I admire their high risk approach to getting a laugh. Not sure I’d have gone that far but...anything for a laugh that’s The Broncos.

I've emailed Loubser pointing out that the club needs to have a rethink as to how it's going to dig itself out of a "self-built hole"......I am genuinely in awe of how badly the club is being run now, regardless of how short staffed they are.
As for April Fools.......that horse bolted when the move to wimbledon got off first base

| 330 confirmed ticket sales thus far for Dewsbury, Richard Whiting has access to the Twitter account and is offering upgrades to the Gold Lounge, little on the website since Coleman's thoughts on the Sheffield loss and as far as I can see, no email activity since Feb 11th.
No more of the promised Q&A's with Mustard, nothing about members events and to me it looks like they've simply decided to preach to the few remaining fans via twitter.....although to be fair, you can now also buy tickets to the Thunder game.....where we have apparently sold 330 as well.?

Any excuse!
Seriously though Friday night is a different prospect to Sunday afternoon. Not so family friendly (not that anything is ever put on for the kids but...) also Broncos fans are spread all over the place. No one is going to brave Friday rush hour traffic to get there. I’ll give it a go but I’d think a sub 500 crowd is a certainty. Possibly sub 350. Needs promoting in a different way to get people in. In fact just being promoted might be an idea.

| I'm guessing the answer is no, as this is a football ground, but can you take a flask? We used to take a flask to Ealing. If they have MyPie will be trying them, but generally we usually take a flask

Simple answer I don’t know but my son brought in a water bottle so it wouldn’t surprise me and I’m sure there would be a work around so you wouldn’t actually lose the flask.

The rules for football are quite strict as you know. I'd love a beer at my seat; which we do for the Ladies matches. However, you SHOULD be okay. This is what AFC Wimbledon publish on both their individual and general Match Day Guides:
Fans are permitted to bring water in a clear plastic bottle if they wish. However, no glass, cans, or metal bottles will be allowed. Thermos flasks are permitted.

I doubt MyPie will be there, although there is a chance as with the football the day before it's more likely they will do the "double". Tried their guest pie a few weeks ago. Steak, Cheese and Jalapenos. Wasn't convinced it would work, but loved it. I often start to lose interest in food after a few times, but I'm still a fan. By default you get plenty of gravy (which is very tasty). They don't skimp on the quantity.

| As a local, still absolutely no visibility/marketing within the community. I think even the e-mails from the club have stopped for a couple of months. The only info I now get are e-mails from AFC Wimbledon advertising the next match and at Half Time in AFC Wimbledon home matches from the Stadium Announcer when the next Broncos match is mentioned if it's the next day or the following week.
The football club recently got local shops/businesses to allow posters in their windows publicising upcoming fixtures. They don't even really need to do it as despite not winning a match since 7th December, the matches are all as good as sold out (some singles, last minute Season Ticket Returns or Hospitality available). Over 8,500 on Monday. Surely the Broncos could do something like that?
As I've said before, a huge number of the football fans no longer live locally. Season Ticket holders as far away as Doncaster for example. It's the local community that needs targetting. The number of people I've spoken to who can't get tickets to the football isn't small. Get locals into the stadium, because they will be surprised and impressed with the facility on their doorstep. Get people in and you WILL get returnees. I don't think it's prices (currently) that is the issue, it's the total lack of awareness in the community of the presence of the Broncos

This is both the most horrifying, frustrating and predictable description of the Wimbledon move marketing campaign.
Loubser has to go.

| Orange is spot on here. Really disappointing and, sadly, predictable (and indeed predicted on this forum). To compound the problems it’s difficult to see a natural jumping on point now. Dewsbury is a key fixture that we might win. It we haven’t really done much to attract t attention. Newcastle is a Friday night game different vibe and audience no effort again seemingly and then we don’t play at home. Until the summer. (And of course the season could in essence be over then). Possibly we could try and piggy back onto any energy created by the new football season but who knows.....
