Thought I would update you that its not only the England boys we have missing. Make shift team. Rangi our only fit halfback. Probably will be partnered with McShane and Milner at 9. Eden may play full back so Brough could have a field day with some high bombs. Our bench will probably have 1 or 2 players on it who havent played this season for us at all.

So on Thursday you will be facing pretty much what our season has been like all year....

Can't see how we win this. Gonna be very tough and Huddersfield looked a million times better than in any other game this season.

If Huddersfield are anything like last week they will win. If they're anything like they've been the rest of the year it'll be close.

Our game depends how chase performs for me. He's still got the ability to win games on his own. Not massively optimistic having lost 3 lads to England duty, but for the same token, as a cas fan I'm glad they're in the frame

We are missing arguably the best half back partnership so far this year in Superleague. Both Roberts and Gale out. Rangi needs to step up big time but does he still have what he needs to lead a team to a win. Not sure.

Can see this being our biggest loss of the year. ( biggest loss so far is 4) Can see Hudds by 8-12 points.

Realistically I don't expect us to win this game but there is nothing wrong with hoping, I am more bothered about us putting on a repeat of the Leeds game performance, If we can put that effort in again we will give them a good game and it will set us up for Newcastle.
We are going to have easier games than this, but we have to back up last weeks effort , We usually play better against the better sides , so looking forward to a good game.

Ive taken Huddersfield on Handicap already at +14. We have lost 3 away games already so our away form isnt great on top of our players missing.

Certainly no excuses from me, must admit I'm surprised at the doom and Gloom from my fellow cas fans. I expect this to be close but we have enough to win if the players aren't looking for reasons to fail. I know we have a few out but we still have enough super league quality (and above) players to play out part in a close game. mcshane has the skills of a half and rangi chase can win any game when he's in the mood alongside players like shenton, lynch, jsl, moors and millington. It's also a chance for some of our squad players to stake a claim. Haven't you only got one fit half also ??? I'll stick my neck out and go 24-20 to cas.

I'm hoping for an enjoyable game and plenty of well behaved noisy Cas fans to help create a good atmosphere.
Missing bodies won't be an excuse for either team. Both teams are more than capable of beating the other. Let's hope the Giants can live up to the entertainment that Cas have provided all year and the referee doesn't ruin the game.

yes just danny brough, young sam wood is the other half back, whos not a half back...been playing centre when hes played for us... played half back last week at leeds as we dont have gaskell/brierley/ellis for different reasons! wood played half back as a junior

well the giants are still available at 3/1 for a win with the bookies...cant have been too many putting faith in us producing the right attitude this week!

The same old same old Cas fans come on opposing fans forums before every game playing down our chances, these die hard Cas fans never expect Cas to win ever!
