2 home grown players in the team of the tournament....quite an achievement.

Brilliant news for Jerry and Broughy to make the team and a boosting shot in the arm for the Giants. Nice to see Walker in the team too being a local lad.
Spoke to my dad about McGilvery this weekend and how well he'd done yet again for England against the Aussies, Kiwis and Scotland and how he'd do well playing over in the NRL. If he ever wanted to leave us he'd go with my blessings if he went down under and can see him making that move in a year or two as his pace, power, movement, tackling and finishing would go down a treat in the NRL and make him a star over there and take him on to the next level.

Adam Walker was also immense as well as our two Giants despite the oiks at HKR booing him throughout.
In all honesty, Dale Ferguson was also superb in all three Scotland games, especially the last one.
Maybe back soon on the strength..?
