Toronto will play their first ever game at hull FC in January then play Wigan Warriors in two preseason games.
I thought we had a special relationship with Toronto-Should have tried to get that first game- first ever game by the Canadian side at the birthplace of rugby league.

didnt the Giants help out Canadian rugby league by allowing some of their young players to train with us?

Canada rugby league and the Toronto Wolfpack are two completely seperate organisations. The Wolfpack was set up by a billionaire Aussie business man.

I think we've missed a trick with not playing them in a friendly as it will get lots of exposure around the world when the play Hull. Hopefully we get to play them away in the not too distant future as Toronto is a wonderful city to visit with lots to see and do and what more of an excuse would you want than following the Giants over there.

after being snubbed for the wcs games, the rfl worked wih hull fc to arrange this fixture to compensate for that

plus we also took a couple of canadian players two/three seasons ago to train with fc

and if you want to see them in action, hull is only 50 minutes away!
