| was the jist of the sky teams analysis of the 2nd half v bulls.
an unfair contest blah blah, bradford have a small squad blah blah, bradford have average players so it wasn't fair.
it wasn't fair when we were getting smashed every week but it didn't bother sky, it wasn't fair when london were getting smashed but it didn't bother them, lets all feel sorry for bradford...... no lets not, they were there to be smashed again and we did just that, after only playing for 60 minutes, poor start but once we got going it was a training session
but well done bradford for keeping it below 60 points, and well done to the warrington fans for creating the atmosphere, shame they dont bother at their own home games eh.
anyone who went ( i presume most of you did ) will know what im referring to when you watch the game back.

| Yeah it was so unfair them having to play the league leaders in a relegation season erm let's roll back a few years when we always got the extra fixture away at Bradford year after year at odsal they never complained then when they got a guaranteed 6 points a season from us all when it was relegation blah blah!!! Double standards!!
It was quite an atmosphere in amongst the giants fans!!

I actually agree.
On the fixture. It is unfair but, who knows when the fixtures are announced that other fixtures would be unfair, for example Tigers vs Wildcats.
Maybe in future they should be announced 4 weeks in advance based on league position.

| If the RL are intending to keep the Magic Weekend why not play the last eight of the CC as the weekend feature.
The intensity will be increased and I am sure the fans will take it just as much to heart.

| As a bulls fan I think it was a fair result: no injuries for us or loan players playing so well that they get taken back. Dragons next week is far more important to us than that game. So thanks for the loans, the Giants management have been very fair to us in that respect.
As for the format, when we used to play all teams three times, the third one was determined by position in the table the previous season, so odds played odds and evens evens. so there is a precedent for scheduling 1 v 2 etc. there will be some anomalies but the games should all be competitive, with each side feeling theres a chance.

| The RL pick the games so that they have a better chance of getting larger crowds. Also I can't see the RL getting rid of the magic weekend as Sky love the concept and the game gets brilliant national coverage over the weekend in the papers, tv and radio which is only a good thing. Think the games will be either drawn, taken off league placing or even better this:
12 v 9 and 11 v 10 (change 12 or 11 for any promoted teams) for the teams who didn't make the playoffs and show it helps where you finish the previous season.
Then sort the fixtures out by doing the losers of each round of play off knock out playing against each other with a repeat of the grand final as the last game of the magic weekend.
Going off last seasons league finish and playoff just taking the top 12 the fixtures would've been:
Catalan v Hull KR
Hull v St Helens
Fartown v Leeds
Wigan v Warrington
Bradford v Castleford
Widnes v Wakefield

| It will happen but probably not at Man City as they want to bulid extra tiers behind each goal.
Coventry was mentioned on SL back chat (as was Elland Road or Anfield though Liverpool are looking at doing building work too so that might be a no no).
The SL2 Magic Weekend looks certain to be in Blackpool which will be the week before the SL1 Magic Weekend I believe.

i was quoting what the sky commentators were saying, the only cringeworthy thing about that is that because we are god and bradford are crap is that its now unfair that bradford should play us.

| Edinborough was the worst of the lot. Why make it a long way to travel and require an overnight stay? I'd keep it local but increase ticket prices to encourage more to stay for other games.

| Edinburgh was certainly the coldest - if we'd have had Magic there this weekend the weather wouldn't have been anywhere near as conducive to the great time everyone had in the warmth and the sunshine! Will be interesting to see what they come up with and for when particularly if they do change the CC final to May too.

| Challenge Cup won't move to May. Wembley is busy with FA Cup and Play Off finals to take a game of Rugby League too.

Edinburgh was cold for the magic weekend (s) . Coldest was that Farce in February in Cardiff . Freezing cold ing wet no atmosphere in or out of the ground . Everybody just went home after the games . Daftest decision ever that one .

Good place for a stay over for sure though far from cheap even with nothing going on up there, I think one of the Sheffield grounds might be a better option if the actual attendance is the deciding factor, if it goes to the highest bidder then Cardiff will be the winner.

| If they move it to winter and the start of the season, they've lost me as a customer, too chuffing cold.
If not Manchester then Newcastle or Liverpool in May
