Just thought id say Steve Mcnamara was watching today, probably watching Broughy!

If team to play exiles is picked on form then Brough,Cudjoe,Ferres,Crabtree and Lunt should all make the squad.

Sorry but I don't think he will have been watching Broughy. He'll have been watching his beloved Sinfield and Mcguire with his blinkers firmly in place!!

Great game yesterday. Nice to see a big crowd at a cup match, semi finals don't always get such big crowds so well done both clubs and the marketing of this game. Plenty of Leeds fans turned up and supported their side, but we got a fair few in too.

Hopefully some new fans will come back and get the cheap mini season tickets and enjoy the greatest game.

As for the game, it was a great performance from our lads, especially defending the line. Leeds were camped in our 25 for about 15 minutes in the second half, but couldn't crack us. Only when Wardle got sent off did they score, but even then they couldn't find a regular overlap. As for the sending off, I think it was a tad extreme bearing in mind what had already gone on in the game and been relatively unpunished. 10 minutes to cool off would have been more sensible under the circumstances. Leroy rose to the challenge of a big game and facing Moon who I rate highly, Leroy dominated that side with Chan and Jerry. Danny's kicking especially in the first half was awesome, pinning Leeds back time and time again. Robbo had his best game this season at half back, zippy passes, little darts, lets hope he can continue this form. Grix did well other than his brain fart in the in goal, good job he recovered just in time. Mind you the video ref was looking for any reason to give decisions to Leeds, that incident, Cording's no try was a try and even the disallowed Leeds try, they kept repeating hoping to see a reason to give it.

Another one who has got back to his best is Fergy, now back in his preferred back row position he is outstanding. Koppy has to be our best signing so far this season, the work, the running and tackling he gets through in his stints is awesome.

Great game, can't wait for the next round, just hope its a home tie and they can do a similar deal again. Maybe slowly increase prices to £10 or £12.

Your probably right! Broughy kicked leeds to death though! Made sinfields kicking look bad! But think we targeted him

cudjoe my MOM followed by crabtree.... cudjoe has to be one of if not the best centre in super league. very rare anyone goes past him

Wonder if Mcnamara is regretting making Kevin 'idontplayagainsthuddersfield' Sinfield the England captain now as it means he has to be in the team and therefore we will have to try and win the world cup with 12 men every game .!

I can't remember the last time anyone beat Cudjoe one on one to be honest, he reads a game very well and has some sublime handling skills

some of our fans cant wait to knock him though..looks lazy but like anderson says hes very deceptive, ryan hall is no slouch

Paul Reilly used to have a style a bit like that though- no one would consider him lazy- it's just his style of play.

If anything I thought he slowed up towards the line, he knew his was in, his paced slowed slightly. He has such a good handoff, one on one.

I'd be one of the first to say he doesn't back himself enough, close to the line, with a line of defence in front of him, like say Wardle does, but one on one like that he is in every time.

just watched it back and the amount of intercepts he had was ridiculous. Although Crabtree has been eared out by a few for MOM (he was immense) Cudjoe was a 100% genuine game changer on saturday.

Agree - Eorl was very good, Leroy was outstanding and was clearly in the mood to destroy Leeds !!......and with Mcnamara in the stand watching surely he cant be that far behind the brilliant Ablett for an England centre spot

def got to be in the mix with him playing in the winter international games too
