And personally I think he was disappointing in most of them

All them injuries must have caught up with him,recalling how he used to rip in when he first arrived.

Just hope Ta'ai has more luck on the injury front than many of our overseas signings.How far back could we go? Collella,Torrens,Simpson,Doof,O'Donnell.No doubt there are other unfortunates that I have missed.

Good luck to Fa'alogo, he's had a few good games for us especially when he first started and he looked like he was going to be a terrific signing. Sadly injuries have limited his appearances and he never really regained any sort of the fitness/form he showed when we first signed him. Every time he looked to be getting up to speed along came an injury, his performances have really mirrored our erratic form during the past few seasons. I might be really wide of the mark but I sometimes thought he and a fair few players were patched up and brought back too early from injuries and in Fa'alogo's case it just didn't work, and for one reason or another he wasn't able to play to his full ability, as a result his confidence looked shot and his performance suffered. Sad to say but his time here didn't turn out quite as expected.
Tommy Lee is another who was playing well before injury and our dramatic fall from grace struck, so good luck to the lad wherever he ends up.
As for Scott Moore, great when he had his first stint with us but now a shadow of his former self, why we shipped Lunt out to bring him in i'll never know.

faalogo overall has been dissapointing, show his class on occasions but to be honest we have been short changed.

lee prob offered peanuts by us so no wonder hes looking elsewhere, shows glimpses of talent and kept lunt out of the team before his injury, abit unlucky really...could of been a decent back up player

walker is a strange one, looked good for us and played 4 of the first games this season then wasnt seen again! injuries? shame, josh johnson hopefully the next one to come through.

what i still dont get is if we let Lunt go out on loan because he wasn't gettin gametime why go out and look for a replacement ? surely it would have made sense to play him in the 1st place? or am i missing something here?

so thats 7 players that have now left from the squad- brown,gilmour,doof,peltier,walker,lee and moore- does that mean nobody else is leaving, my only worry if that is the case is only doof featured in last weeks game at hull, the others didnt figure at all, cant see how the mentality is going to change that much, 3 players in so far, one of which played at hull in ferres, who i think is a good signing, ta'ai and mullally, think we must have scope to bring in a few more top players, i hope so anyway.

We also have Johnson to replace peltier, Lunt will replace lee, Ta'ai to replace doof, mullally replaces walker, ferres instead of Gilmour, we always did have too many hookers so Moore doesn't need a replacement! Arguably ferres could be a LF replacement for brown rather than gilly.
I can't see us getting gale now, if the kopzcak thing is true then we replace gilly (played as prop) with him.

wouldnt worry about Crabtree and Brough we are linked to just about every player in Super league. Cannot see Crabtree leaving at all

Walker. More playing time for Fairbanks next year. Other than wrist injury why did fairbanks not get more sl time ? Just a tackling machine in the first quarter of the season.

Doof. Someone told me he only missed 3 nrl games in 3 previous seasons before he came to giants physio table. On his day destructive in defence and able to punch holes in defences. Too few days unfortunately. But departs with my best wishes and a stick of rock.

Yes Daz you are missing the point of the order of events.
Lunt was dropped. Lee took his spot. Lee played well so rightly did not get dropped. Lee and robbo played hooker. Lunt wanted game time so asked to be moved on. He got a season long loan at Leeds. Then lee got injured- Lunt couldn't be recalled under the terms of the loan so THEN a replacement for lee was required. Ironically if lunt had held on a couple more weeks he'd have been back in!

The Robinson rumour has been about at Widnes quietly but would personally doubt anything is concrete there. Though Anderson does seem to like Faiumu permanently at 9?

Robbos dad told me that widnes enquired about him. Request turned down.

I've already posted that Robbo himself said [at HGSA meeting he'd had weekly approaches from Widnes and ALWAYS turned them down. "I'm committed to Huddersfield" he said.
